Features:
• Panels are made of high temperature-resistant elements vulcanized between two thin layers of fiberglass-reinforced silicone rubber and a stainless steel sheath, which provides additional mechanical protection and a ground path for hazardous area installations
• Design provides a rugged, water- and chemical-resistant sheath with good flexibility down to -57°C/-70°F
• Panels can be easily attached to the tank using suitable banding materials, and are available in both 120 and 240 Vac models in a variety of sizes and wattages
• VH heating panels are FM Approved for both ordinary and hazardous locations

Nelson Heat Trace VH Series heating panels are installed on the outer surface of tanks and vessels to prevent the contents from freezing and to maintain liquids at a constant temperature. Compared to heating cables, VH panels are easier to install on tanks and vessels while providing the flexibility to heat a large area of the tank surface or to focus heat on a smaller area when fluid levels in the vessel are low.

VH heating panels are suitable for installation on metallic tanks and vessels for freeze protection or process temperature maintenance up to 79°C/175°F. Any number of heating panels can be installed on a single tank and connected in parallel or series to suit electrical distribution and application requirements.
